I was looking for a healthier option for dinner after shopping at Target. I usually cruise right through the food court, but noticed Poke place had recently opened. Normally, I would not have given this place a second thought, but the food did look good–fresh & inviting. I love poke, but also know that it’s a crapshoot when trying new places. Fortunately, this place was good and affordably priced.
I went with the regular bowl ($8.99) and chose a base of salad and brown rice, with salmon and tuna for the protein. It was surprisingly good. Everything was fresh–and this important with raw fish–and clean. I love the fact that the spicy seaweed doesn’t cost extra (yeah!). The service was also good and the young lady who served me was very helpful.
All in all, this is a place that I will add to the lineup in my neighborhood (Bruno) when I’m looking to eat something healthy and inexpensive.
